WE DIDN’T WANT TO WAIT

... SO WE BUILT SOMETHING THAT COULD MOVE.

New York has a way of reminding you not to wait around.
Things move. People move. Ideas either show up – or disappear.

So while we’re working toward our first permanent SaunaGuus location, we decided not to stand still.

We decided to take sauna outside.

This is how SaunaGuus begins in New York:

With a mobile sauna.

Built by our partner Craig Desmond and Ecotone

SO… WHAT THE HELL IS A MOBILE SAUNA?

It’s exactly what it sounds like.
A real Scandinavian sauna, built on wheels, designed to bring proper heat out into the city.

Same principles.
Real heat.
Ancient ritual.

Just more flexible.

For us, the mobile sauna is a way of doing something different – and a way of being present while we build what comes next. Instead of waiting twelve months, we get to introduce ourselves now. Meeting people. Creating relationships. Out in the open. In real places.

Parks. Waterfronts. Under the bridges. Quiet corners of the city.

Downtown, Uptown – Greenpoint to Red Hook – Upstate to Long Island

Places where the landscape does half the work for us.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF LAUNCH

For the first three months, every session will be pay-as-you-wish.

$1.
$40.
You can donate nothing at all and just come feel the heat.
Take a photo. Tell a friend. Leave smiling.
That works too.

We’re just happy you’re there.

Real sauna to the streets of NYC

JUST THE BEGINNING.

The mobile sauna isn’t about shortcuts.
It’s about momentum.

It’s our way of building awareness while we build foundations.
Of showing up instead of waiting.
Of letting people experience SaunaGuus before we ask them to believe in it.

Right now, we’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to get our first pop-up ready over the next few weeks.
Dates, locations, final details – all coming together as we speak.

This is how we begin in New York.
Out in the open and moving.

Keep an eye out.

TODAY WE'RE LISTENING TO

Riders on the StormThe Doors captures the mood pretty well right now.
Loose, gritty, and wild — exactly how it feels driving the sauna around.
